Just FYI, Northstar Canoes is Ted Bell's canoe making enterprise since I believe 2012 and the new version of that canoe is the Northwind 17. I think it sells in the BlackLite carbon/kevlar layup for $3,095.00 new. He and his crew put out an excellent product.

Actually a brand new Northstar 17 with wood trim and black lite would be about $3400-$3500 now a days. Although I saw one a few weeks ago on clearance (kevlite though) with wood trim for $2600.
