I am planning a Boy Scout Trip through Northern Tier. I have 11 participants so am limited to going through their Atikokan base, and limited to a trek in the Crown Lands. My question - how does a Crown Lands trek compare with on out of Ely in the BWCAW or one into Quetico? Thank you. Terry
Hi Terry! Welcome to BWCA.com. Long time Scouter here (although retired from that capacity now) and I've done a Quetico trip out of NT, albeit through the Sommers Base near Ely. Others will be able to chime in on paddling the Crown Lands, but I'll bet it will be a great trip. Good luck in your planning!

I have been to the Turtle River Provincial Park many times. Let me know how I can help. Email me if you want to discuss some trip options in that area.
