I’m gonna head up to Ely this weekend for a winter camping weekend. If I could drive all the way to the Gabbro EP, that would be wonderful. Does anyone have any info on Spruce Road? Hoping that due to the lack of snow, the road is open all the way. Thanks.

Mike

Contact the Kawishiwi Ranger District at (218) 365-7600. They should know the conditions.

Have a good time and enjoy that beautiful road.
Soon it will be the road to Twin Metals mine, the largest underground mine in the world.

Sorry,
Tom

Tom, Unfortunately after yesterday's announcement to fast track the leases, you are not all that wrong. I hope everyone on this site is submitting comments.

Share some pictures of your trip, I would love to see that area in the Winter!
