Anyone know current conditions? Snowshoes required? Judging from the number of cars in the lot when I've driven by, I'd have to think the trails would be pretty nicely packed, but you never know.

Usually the trail from the parking lot to the lake is pretty well packed down from snowmobiles. If you venture off toward the falls it’s also pretty packed from day hikers. Given the light snowfall so far you probably won’t need snowshoes. You could easily walk to the turn off to determine if you need snowshoes.
