That's the same one I have, I've had it for six years now.
Its travelled to Florida and Alaska in that time, as well as the BWCA.

C Crane CC Skywave, TECSUN PL-310ET, Grundig Globe Traveler G3, Portable AM/FM/Shortwave Radios, are the offspring of my Grundig G8 Traveler 2, still in use after 10 years! My son uses a Traveler G3.

Same one that I use and I love it. Especially like the sleep function where it turns itself off if it's not touched for a while. I'm a light sleeper and I like to turn it on real quiet for some background noise as I fall back asleep.

I have the C Crane pocket radio that I bought for my month solo last fall and it worked great. Has weather, AM and FM. I don't normally bring a radio and I didn't really feel knowing the weather was gonna keep being crappy for the week ahead helped me all that much, may have actually caused me more anxiety than it was worth for the weather band side of it. But at if there was a major storm I would it would have helped. It was however nice to hear people talk and listen to a few tunes when I got bored. It also had a handy alarm I used and programmable shut off if you fall asleep. And I was astonished how long the batteries lasted.
