Present, now living in Maple Grove, Minnesota. Perhaps I will make it out to a wing night one of these times. I am busy but enjoy my sporadic times on this site. Thinking about a BWCA trip this spring after ice out.

Here and actually pretty sure my first actual BWCA trip will happen in 2019 despite lurking here for years. Not going solo and still trying to establish who will actually go with me.
Just realized that I don't get in front of cameras much on trips.

Here. Starting to my plan my usual 2 trips. Working my wife for another month long fall solo. Not going so good thus far, but a chance she and all three adult children will make the June trip. That would be a first to have all 5 of us up at the same time.
Hope you all have a great year of health and happiness!

Happy & healthy to all, keep on paddling & getting out there. Gear head still lurking about. Cooking up a new meal, back to basics, will post after testing completed. 2 trips to the Dacks in 2019 on the calendar, BWCA again hopefully in 2020. Gotta float, paddle on.

Happy Knoo Year everyone. Still here. A little less retired than last year. This winter's project is a cedar strip, solo, Merlin knoo. Hoping to get her out soon after ice out. Planning for at least one trip, probably out of Ely, the week after Father's Day.
God let Peter walk on water. To the rest of us He gave knoos.

Present. Made my first solo last year due in great part to the awesome shared knowledge from the members of this wonderful community! Now planning on a trip with my 2 sons and son-in-law (he’ll be a newbie) for this coming summer. I’ll need more gear - I wonder where I can find some good opinions on new stuff?
Just put one foot in front of the other; eventually you'll get there.

Happy New Year to one of the best group of people I can think of.
One trip already planned and a possibility of another in the works.
Take care,

Still here........May or May not go in the future. I love helping others plan though.
I told my buddies there are about a dozen bucket list trips on BWCA/Quetico I still want to do, and if they put one together, I might go.....

Still here lurking more than posting, but always one of my favorite places to hang out.
Two canoe trips last year... Rockwood cabin week with friends from Chicago... couple of quick Sawbill car camping trips and spent time in or near canoe country (AKA Paradise) almost every month of the year. Heading for a long MLK weekend at Rockwood next week, excited to ski, snowshoe and hang out by the fire.
Planning a couple of trips next summer. One on the calendar for sure... me, hubby and Luft will be bringing some of Jeep Girl's ashes to Frost in July. And I am sure I'll fit in at least one more trip in June or August.
Here's Luft and me on Monument portage last year on our way to spending a week on Ester and Ottertrack. Hubby was the photog. We've become an efficient trio on our group trips.

Is that the Kishwaukee?"
Yes it is Blutofish1, that is the Kishwaukee River! The photo is from last July while paddling with the awesome bunch of happy paddlers pictured below.

Still here. Planning a Quetico trip in June.
My dumb company only lets us take two weeks in a row every other year. We went to Big Bend State Park at the beginning of December. I think we saw fewer people than we usually see in Boundary waters the three nights we were there. It's a little more crowded now, though, due to the shutdown at BBNP.

Present and posting. After 4 trips last year, down to one in 2019. Two weeks in Yellowstone and getting moved to FT at work really reduces opportunities for the BWCA, but one good trip in June to Fat Lake should make for a good start to the year. Maybe even an overnight to Eagle Mountain? Everyone have a great year and be safe!

Two trips to the BWCA planned so far for this season. As Twins87 said, we are headed into Frost in July and I am also headed into the Fairy area with SerenitySeeker in June.
I will likely squeeze in a few off the cuff trips if my boss is nice enough to give me a string of days off in a row. Four days off in a row and I'm there!

Had foot surgery 11/30. Been away from work & weirdly, this website, for much of the time I was off. But hey, I'm here now!
No trips planned at the moment for 2019. I need to see how the summer shakes out. The Venturing Crew might be doing a trip to Northern Tier for winter 2019-2020, so that may be my only time to see the wilderness.

Mr. & Mrs. Ripple are here- we are actively sailing our 36 ft Cape Dory "Bertha".
Starting the world cruising in early May.
Our first 1-2 years plan is to be sure we hit all the great lakes as we leave out the St. Lawrence seaway to Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, and down the east coast. Land around 32 degree lat to wait out hurricane season- then to Bermuda, Azores, Portugal/UK/Ireland.

That "might" has since been upgraded to an "is"! We'll be stepping into the wilderness 12/30/2019 and back out on 1/3/2020.

Here, looking forward to a paddle this year. Not sure about a trip, with a baby due in April, but it would be nice to get out with the older kids..
