Is this forum open to hiking in other locales or just the BW and Quetico?

I don't have the answer to that, but I'm always looking for information on hikes outside the BW.

One thorn of experience is worth a whole wilderness of warning

Alrighty then. Early planning for a Mount Kilimanjaro trip to celebrate turning 60. Looking for recommendations on which tour company to use and any other recommendations on travel, gear, etc. I'm looking at either Sept/Oct of 2020 or Jan/Feb of 2021 so plenty of time for planning. I hike almost everyday and have done a couple 14ers so I'm not a total newb but I know Kili is a big step up (pun intended) from anything I've previously done. Also any thoughts on Diamox? Thanks

I'm pretty sure I post fairly often about my SHTy hiking plans...

I'm currently section hiking the Superior Hiking Trail.
