I will be heading up to Lake Geneva for the weekend with my wife, who has a work thing going on. I was hoping to get away for half a day or so, while she has her meetings, on Saturday and ice fish on Lake Geneva. Don't have a popup shelter, so I was hoping to rent a shanty...found a few places that supposedly have them, but no responses to any emails. (prefer not to talk on phone while at work) Their business must be really good, maybe nothing available. Guess I could hike out, drill a couple holes with my manual auger, and sit on a bucket.... Any of you guys have experience ice fishing Geneva, any advice? Thanks.
In Lake Geneva, off HWY 50 by the public library and the beach, there will be a bunch of people out there jigging for panfish. Geneva lake bait and tackle rents ice houses I believe. What weekend will you be coming up?
