Has anyone travelled from Wrist to Hansen lately? The information I have been able to dig up online suggests the portages may be in rough shape.

Get in touch with Harlan at Red Lake Outfitters and/or Claire at the park office. They'll gie the most up-to-date info on portages. Keep in mind obviously that the snow up there and deadfalls from the winter will have changed whatever the conditions were as of last fall (but you knew that already :).
