Yes you got that long bay of funny looking mud that seems to have no bottom. One pretty paddle.

Been by it more then a dozen times. Maybe I am approaching the age were I shouldn't trust my memory. After looking at the map it all comes back. Rose is more like a River coming out of Rat. Isn't the cement border maker between North and South?

Yes they actually cleared a lane-border to the north of the portage between North and South. Also a few years ago pretty much the whole route they got those cement border markers.
Yes South flows to Rat-than Rose.

Yup, it is. This pic is where it first starts to widen. I hate that I was working this weekend and missed out on this, I knew this one!
