I'm in NC, and this is for sale near me. Any info would be appreciated. He wants 200 bucks for it, because he wants a jon boat...

Looks like a Sawyer Super. A racing canoe.....should be 18.6 long and Kevlar layup around 40 pounds. I know nothing about how it paddles.....

I tend to think it's one of the 'Champion' series. The 'Super" was a bit more radical and lower volume. Irregardless, for that price I'd buy it in a heartbeat! :-)

Champ would probably be a little nicer possible tripper than a Super. For $200, it'd be worth finding out.

I agree with everyone else, $200 is a small price to pay to test it out. It looks like a good boat and if it is not for you, you should be able to resell, making a decent profit.
