BWCA heading northwest. I've got a few hints prepped just in case :)

P.S.
Sorry for the bad quality, was a screencap from GoPro footage and the lighting wasn't great.

No one's got it yet, so here's a photo of a nice feature of this portage. Also this is a short and pretty easy portage. It might be one of my favorite portages ever actually.

No one's got it yet, but those are some good guesses. Here's another hint. You might think someone misspelled the name of the lake this portage is coming from (SE to NW).

No one's got it yet. Final photo hint. I really love this end of the portage (NW side).

So close!! I'll give it to minnmike - it's Amoeber to Little Knife (also called Knife, lol). That entire area was so charming, even on that cloudy day. There were a bunch of loons playing around, hooting and hollering like crazy. One group of four even let us get within 20 feet or so before they dove and swam a bit further away. I caught a smallie while trolling, using a fire tiger shad rap (I think). The half-burned Canadian side and the relatively straight and narrow stretch of NAK makes this area pretty memorable for me. I especially loved the pinch between Little Knife and Knife - look behind you if you go this way; the way the trees cluster together into the distance and get narrower really makes it a striking view. I wish we had backtracked a little to see the narrow Ottertrack, but that would be backtracking so I didn't even think of it. Some day...

I thought Amoeber seemed like a misspelled version of amoeba. :)
