Heading up to Snowbank this week staying out of The Lodge. First time fishing Lakers through the ice and could use some tips on lures/tackle options. Was told Big Nasty jigs and spoons were a must but looking for other options.
A white or white and blue 1/4 oz. KenKatch bucktail jig tipped with a Berkley 3 inch power smelt works well. Smaller baits work well for Lakers on most lakes.
