I am an infrequent poster, but have been lurking a bit since we are planing a Trip to Thursday Bay this Summer

My son and I made a day trip in July 2016 from Thursday Bay to Jackfish Lake. The portages are a little overgrown but easy to follow. We were mostly able to paddle the creek, just a few pullovers and some canoe dragging near Jackfish. We didn't paddle Wabosons, but we did walk over there from Jackfish.

Thanks for the info, so it is doable, going to try it on late May trip.

Yep, it was not bad at all in July, May should be even easier. If memory serves, it took us a couple hours to get in there. We fished for a few hours and came out. Lots of pike in Jackfish nothing very big but it was a fun and scenic adventure. Let me know how it goes in May, as we will be going in June and will most likely take a day trip back there.

Housty9, there’s a guy up my way that’s always wanted to do that route.
