I have fun/weird kind of canoe someone might like. The price is $500 and I can bring it to Canoecopia.
First off it is not a Curtis canoe. It might be confusing because of the Hemlock name. This canoe was made in Birchwood WI by a company called The Canoe Outfitters.

It is a 17 foot cloth boat that I believe to be kevlar. To me it seems to be a kevlar version of a 17' Grumman (weird, huh?) -width, length, and shape.
It was so different I bought it. There was some shoddy repair work done to it which I cleaned up. I re-read enforced potential weak spots, re-epoxied the outer hull, cleaned up the seats and yoke, added new sling yoke pads (CVCA), added inwales.
Caned seats. Aluminum keel (weird right?).
I don't know the weight, but it's not very heavy.
Anyway, I never paddle it, so I'd sell it if someone wanted it.

I just inherited one of these from a neighbor. There's very little information on them but it was such a cool old boat I had to take it.

I do have one question that I'm hoping to get some help with. I see your boat has an aluminum keel guard. Mine did not come with one. Should I add one, and if so, where might I source something like that?

I sawed up one of these boats this past summer and threw the pieces in the dumpster. It was donated to the local nature center where I volunteer. We get several donated boats (canoes and kayaks) each year. In this case I suggested that the center director have me assess boats we before we accept them. This one was in real bad shape - cracked hull, rotted thwarts and someone had added a glass porthole to the bottom for underwater viewing I guess. At least I salvaged the aluminum keel guard in pieces to put in the scrap metal pile for our scrap guy.

We have immediately scraped 4 or 5 donated canoes in the past 10 years. People donate them to us but we have pick them up - an easy way for people to get rid of them. But we have gotten nice ones that people could have sold. Our favorite canoes to get are aluminum, they hold up well in rental service and don’t deteriorate - all our boats (canoes and kayaks) are stored outside year round.

I don't think your going to find preformed keel strips for canoes, unless you come across someone scraping one out and they think to hold onto the hardware.
And along those lines have you looked into marine salvage sites? Don't expect any canoe HW but you never know.
If you want to make a set marine supply sites (id guess with a sailboat focus) will have sticks of radiused material I'm guessing in Aluminum, brass and stainless steel.
