Carmike won the last one, but said someone else should post, and it's been a week or so, so I figured I'd throw one out there.

BWCA, looking west.

Looks pretty gnarly.

I'll say SAK to Sema.

Hmmm, is that between Chase and Pencil?

Nope to both. Most of the portage doesn't have blowdown like that. That was the only one on the trail that I can recall.

Here's another hint. Looking west at the start of the portage.

I’m in mocha’s area here one of the pond portages.

i was hemming and hawing about my choice, Ben, thinking you're direction as well!

I'll say Cross River, just south of the entry point. 50 rod portage. If I win, I have no portage pix though.

Sandman2009: "Hatchet to Ima"

Booooom!!! Sandman with the win. I truly enjoyed this portage and was happy to walk it twice. Not too long, not too much elevation, but a variety of scenery and some nice smells. Ima landing is sketch though.

I guess I have blocked out most portages from memory...or maybe limited views since I'm always the guy under the canoe(s).

That last picture would have been a give away.
