I think I remember where this was.....maybe not exactly. If you've done it and recognize it, maybe you can tell me for sure. Looking E/NE

reminds me of a portage along the frost river route, down a hill, across a crick and up a rock face... had to have a plan to keep moving or you'd slide down the hill.

no and no. Wrong portage Mocha but right idea. That is EXACTLY what we had to do to get up the rock face on the near side.

Mocha has it. Last portage on the Bug to Trail series along the Louse. That was a long day......Wine to Malberg...16 portages. Never saw anybody.

whoo hoo! we did that portage coming from the opposite side than you so we had to go UP that rock face.

i'll have to dig for photo now.

we were going west....up the rock face. I walked back to film it. Glad it was a dry day. Pictures never do justice to elevation changes.
