Looking the other way at the downed trees.



Root ball along the portage. These trees were blown down about a week before we passed through here.

That's a cool yoke. Hadn't seen that one before. I don't get out much."


It was a used Piragis canoe and that is the yoke they had on it.

The photos may not technically be from the "same" portage but they are from the same "route" along the same body of water.

The correct answer can include the body of water they follow or the beginning and end lakes for the entire route.

Boy, this looks so familiar.....It's either Sawbill to Ada or Ada Creek to Cherokee Creek - very tough to distinguish the difference sometimes. So much can change due to beavers or rain/dry.

YES! The pics are all from portages on the Frost River route headed west.

I haven't been on either, but thought from your clues it might be the Louse or Frost River route.
