Hey All,
I know it's a pretty general question, but I haven't been keeping up for the last few years on what's new in the world of tandam canoes. We are considering downsizing and selling or trading our Bell Northshore but need to figure out a replacement.
Looking for recomendations and/or what to avoid.
Thanks!
SB

My wife and I rented a Northwind 17 for a week last spring, loved paddling it loaded and most of the time empty. Had 2 sketchy moments in a good breeze empty, turns out our combined weight (300) is under the recommended load. 98% of the time we were in it, I loved it.

I see you own a 16 foot prospector in cedar would a carbon fiber one suit your needs.
I have a 16 foot bell black gold prospector
I am thinking of going longer might be willing to work a trade for your Northshore
Have grand kids growing up

riverrunner... that's tempting. Love the prospectors but were looking for something with a similar haul shape to a northwind/northshore. You dont have a northwind laying around do you? :)

sleepnbag: "brux: "The new Northstars we’ve rented have been a dream to paddle!"
Brux,
Do know which model Northstar you rented?
SB"
The 4 seat 20+ footer. We christened it “The Battleship.” It paddled like a dream. Tracked nicely, turned on a dime and stable.
