I have an old maytag fry pan with handle if anyone is interested. $25. I have my dad's original which I've posted pictures before so I don't need two. I understand a little large for BWCA but still a great fry pan for a group over a fire. I figured I'd offer it up here first. I live in the Twin Cities so would prefer someone local.

Thanks,

canoepaddle

I am interested in the fry pan, but I don't live anywhere near the Twin Cities. Would you be interested in mailing it by the old USPS system? I would not need the handle, as I could make my own, I have lots of broken hockey sticks.

Thanks for the offer but I'm waiting a response from a board member who expressed interest in it via email who is local.

Any chance you could post pictures of the handles or how they are made?

I have a Maytag lid, which I have seasoned but I have not bolted on handles as of yet.

As usual I am late, so much for being a procrastinator.
A old Athabascan trapper once told me, "Sometime you get the bear, sometime bear the get you".

As you can see in the photo, this one was made with 1/2 inch conduit and hockey sticks. As my father has passed, I'm pretty sure he had some government work done while at IBM in Rochester, to make the one below. Lighter, if you have the skills.

Just to note, photo taken on Big Lake, not BWCA, hence the bottle.

Next time I'm at the cabin, I can take a picture of just the handle if it will help. Frypan is what I grew up with. Mostly car camping but has been to BWCA many times also.
