I am looking at buying a solo canoe and have always tandem. There is a solitude solo for sale on Craigslist. Does anyone own one or have advice about it ? What’s it worth ? Look for a better one ? Any help would be great. Thanks

The Solitude is a stable, steady canoe well suited to travel at a moderate pace in moderate conditions. It's value depends on the layup and the condition of the hull and the degree to which it has been subject to sunlight.
Nobody exists on purpose, nobody belongs anywhere, everybody’s going to die.

Sold it years ago. Like Banks says, it was stable and steady, but I didn't like the moderate pace. It seemed hard to get it going and hard to keep it going, but I doubt you could ever tip it. I also learned I really dislike bucket, pedestal seats. It was a gorgeous boat that didn't perform quite as well as it looked to me. The guy who bought it loved Solitudes and felt lucky to get it.
"What could happen?"
