Our group is looking for recommendations on where to buy or rent a satellite phone to be used for 1 week per year. We have rented from our outfitter but it gets expensive (about $350). We use about 30-45 minutes total for the week. It would have to be able to be used in the Iron/Crooked/LLC area. TIA

I know nothing about the company, but 140/month rental with 60 mins talk.

Maybe call them. Im confused on their plans, think they have a by weekly, but monthly requires 12 month contract, idk.

I just rented one for our trip next week. Online-SatellitePhoneStore.com We also used them last year. $165 for the 10-12 days we will have it, including shipping both ways. The shipping is the killer $65. We purchased the 30 minute package. The service and company was fantastic to deal with! I recommend them. Considered buying an InReach but the phone will have to do for now.
It kills me to rent one but life has made it a requirement. My closest friend almost lost his son at home while he was on a wilderness elk hunt a few years back. My daughter and I weathered a bad storm that hit the area in 2016. My wife and other family members didn’t weather not hearing from us too well. They really got worried when my fearless coworkers from the firehouse called asking if we were ok. They don’t worry too often. The annual Sat phone rental is cheaper than an attorney?
