This year we are taking the whole family into EP32 South Kawishiwi River the last weekend of June (5 day trip). We will have my 10 yr old son and 6 yr old daughter, it will be her first trip so we tried to pick something with lots of places to explore and that we can easily adjust based on weather. We hope to give the kids lots of time to swim, fish, and play around camp over the week.

What are your planned trips for the upcoming season? Look forward to more of your trip reports! It's already been in the 90's here so we are ready to come Up North for cooler weather next month. My son and I also do backpacking in the mountains and look forward to giving Mom more piece of mind with the SPOT while we are away.

Wow! Sounds like fun. I’m sure your kids will love it. Hopefully the weather cooperates and you make some great memories. I’ve never been in EP 32, so I look forward to your trip report as well. I hope the Spot comes in handy for you. I’ve had it for over a year and have never used it so I figured someone on the forum might actually use it. As for trips this year, I’ll be in June 15th-22nd with a group of six including my 8 year old son and my cousin from California. We’re heading up to Knife, SAK and Kekekabic on an out and back. We’ll probably get out a day or two before you head in. I’m also doing a solo mid July out of Lake One and doing a paper clip loop east and back out at Snowbank. That’s a 5 day trip. Then, the whole family is going to do a one or two night excursion in August or September, EP undecided. I have two daughters (5 and 2) and my 8 year old son so with my wife along, my Northwind is going to be loaded down! Hopefully we stay afloat. Lol. I’m running to the post office this afternoon so hopefully you get this Spot by the end of the week!
