Heading up for my annual trip to the Boundary Waters the second weekend in June and will be going from Gunflint to Sag. I have done this trip in the past, but I have never fished the Granite Lake. Anyone have any input on this lake? I thought I had read somewhere on here that its a good walleye lake.

Caught a couple of eater-size walleye there way back in 2015, around the island on the west end of the lake, but we didn't spend a lot of time there either...

just be sure to have all your Canadian paperwork and fishing licenses. the walleye fishing on that side of the lake should be good since it gets very little pressure....

Done that route several times, but never bothered to get the remote area crossing permit permt so I could fish in Canada on Granite. I'll be interested to hear what you find!
