Well the truck is loaded and pointing north. Grab the steaks out of the freezer in the morning and head to MSP to pick up the Sherpa who is flying in from Hartford. Staying at VNO Saturday night.

Entry on Sunday at LIS South. Have always wanted to do this entry. Have done LIS North many times.

Only get a week, but so glad the little boy still wants to come home and go on a trip with dad. Guess he's not so little anymore.

LIS is one of my favorite routes. Good chance at Moose sightings. Last time I did that entry, I was heading to Chad Lake. The Little Pony ran out of water about a half mile from Chad. We could see Chad, but it took one hell of an effort to get there ! One of the best trips ever ...

LIS south is on my short list for a solo. Interested in hearing about campsites on Boot and the fishing.

That will be a good trip... have fun. Be careful with that knife... I’ll not be coming in unless I’m being carried to help. Haha. I hope your little boy can carry his weight this time. Haha. Um, pack good rain gear!

Have a good trip. Hope you packed a head net.
What is your exit point? I can't imagine you doing an out and back type of trip. Nice canoe. How long have you had it?

Exit .....who needs that Mac? Have had Brandy for about 10 years. Drove all the way to Manhattan, KS to get it from Suko to find out he was coming to Joice, IA the next weekend to see his sister-in-law. How far is Joice to Hanlontown?

Never mind the little snow flake thingez in the morning forecast. I’m sure it’s just white wolf messing with us.

Wouldn't be the first time we have thrown snowballs. Radio saying an inch possible tonight.

Well made it home about 10pm last night. Now the cleanup fun begins.

Setup on Bootleg and ended up staying there all week. Had wind and rain about half the week.

Bass fishing was good. Had no trouble catching 40 bass a day, but only caught a couple northern but they were 5#'s.
Fish still out deep.

Good week with the son and the was the important thing.
