Got back from the granite river on Wednesday. Smallmouth action was excellent in/near moving water. Walleyes were found deeper (20ft) which was surprising. Overall the bite was VERY soft, walleye didn’t even really pull and even many of the smallmouth hits were slow and gradual. This could’ve been due to the strong cold front that moved in Saturday and lasted into Tuesday
Water temps were between 47 and 49 degrees throughout.
