It looks like WCPP has it's first fire of the season, here's hoping it stays contained.

Another impressive resource is this site, it even displays all the fires in Canada going back to 1980 along with current hotspots. The fires burning in Northern Alberta are quite impressive at the moment.

Folks at the Park Office can send you an updated map of past fire areas in the park if they haven't already updated it online.

Very sad news for the community of Red Lake. Both the pilot and passenger were from Red Lake.

Plane crash kills two in WCPP.
