Checked the water temps on Burntside Lake yesterday afternoon.
The water where Crab Creek enters the lake had a surface temp of 70 degrees, my boat slip in Kaleva Bay had about 63.2 degrees, and the far west end had a surface temp of 53.8.
Several hot, calm days made the temps climb, then wind stirred the lake a bit, creating quite a difference.
I expect the overall temps to be in the lower 60s for the next week or so with the current forecast.

Do you have to use live bait to catch that? ;)

I'd have to say yes, since it's caused by a virus or bacteria, both of which are live. Why don't you pick up a few packs of each and let me know how they work, Bass Breath!!!! :)

I guessed the temps were getting prime when TGO loaded his boat with rapppalas and crankbaits by the dozen. Thought I saw a big case box of lures .....shocking fishing secret. He must have seen it on tv. :) oth

I think TGO calls them his pets and got each one individually named. Probably hand feeds them?

It is wonderful, thank you for askingl!! :)
Now to the others who are getting a tad sassy. It's not the Lure King, it means I am "lurking" to "lure" a few of you into place where only the most evil and vile people (you guys) should spend considerable time, and burn in the process.
Bwahahahahahahahahaha!!! :)
