Nice trip and report. My wife and I have been on a fair amount of BW trips and took another couple a few weeks ago on their first ever trip. (Also a Moose entry)

Thank you for sharing this nice trip report. Many years ago we did all of these lakes, and it was fun to return vicariously. Beautiful photos, fun report to read.

Great report!

We are planning a few days on Indiana with a Wood Lake entry. It sounds like a great lake...and Largemouth were not listed on the DNR survey!

I thought I packed heavy...

Very nice report! I was a bit skeptical seeing the UW-Stout CC shirt, but sounds like you pulled this off nicely! :) Go Falcon CC (UW-RF runner, here)!

Wind is a great Lake. I was on it the week before you were there. We caught 110 fish (SMB, LMB and N. Pike) in 3 days. Had a blast. No walleyes, so I'm glad to know there's someone catching those in there.

I was an Army Ranger years ago. I got used to carrying 100 + lbs of gear with me, so the thought of "light weight" backpacking is still a novel concept to me!

Glad there are fellow CC runners here - Paul and I both ran for Stout!

Cowdoc, another Falcon, I knew from your posts, I liked you!

BTW guys, I ran for UW-RF so long ago, that this fall my daughter will be running for UW-SP. Go Pointers!

@threerivers - I was just ranger school qualified. I did Best Ranger Comp twice, but never served in a Ranger Batt. Too bad, I would have liked to!
