I believe in the summer that its 7am-8pm.

There's a sign on the Sucker Lake side that has all the hours, rules, etc. posted on it.

As an FYI, on the morning of Sunday June 16th there was a long wait to get across the portage. Must have been at least 8 boats lined up to go from Basswood to Sucker and probably took a good hour to go from Sucker to Basswood. They were transporting only one boat at a time on the trailer. When we came back on Friday, the 21st there was no wait and they were transporting two boats at a time. I have no clue why the difference.
