I have a like new Clark NX-250 hammock that I'm going to part with. I have two of these, and this one belongs with someone that will take it out to enjoy the woods.
This hammock is the previous version of the current NX-270; main differences are: 1) the pockets on the NX-250 are only accessible from the outside (not inside), and the Z-liner insulation (think underquilt) on the NX-250 is separate pieces that are inserted into the pockets and velcro attached vs. 1 piece on the NX-250. I've used them both with the Z-liner down to 28 degrees with a 20 degree top quilt and had no cold spots.
This is a great 4 season hammock, with integrated cover and bugnet. It's like new, no tears, rips, stains or smells. I keep the Z-liner installed and the hammock with straps and liner fits nicely into a Granite Gear size large compression sack. Quick and easy to set up this way.
The pieces new today cost:
Hammock: $389
Vertex tarp: $149 (this is the larger, 11' tarp and matches the hammock)
Z-liner: $249 (I think I paid $199)
I'm pretty firm at $350 for the whole set up, which I think is a great deal at less than half of what it would cost new today. Again, it's like new. Also - Clark has just announced to customers that they will be closing their doors and taking no new orders as of July 10th.
Let me know if you're interested, and have a great day!

I forwarded your info to a non-member who just did his first B'dub trip with me. I had an older NX-170 that he used and I used my newer NX-270.
He was convinced he was getting one.
You may hear from him.
It's very sad about Clark Hammocks. I guess he's retiring.

Thanks Karl!
Great hammocks. Wonder if he would sell to someone, but seems like he has a lot of pride in the quality and design of the product and perhaps doesn't want to lose control of that, which I get.
Oh, btw, I also have a UGQ 12' Winter Dream tarp in woodland camo that I'm also going to sell if there's interest in that. I have 3 Winter Dreams - they're great!

Hi Hoaf, did you find a buyer yet?
If not, here's a couple of questions. Do you have an idea of weight and approx packing size?
And would it be too big for a 5'4" person 120lbs? It looks spectacular but what I read is all "this is the 'big guy' model". I'm new to hanging other than years of using an ENO casually around camp. My sons both hang as do all their camping buds. They love it. Thanks, Hoaf!

What are you asking for the WD12?

Hi -
The standard Winter Dream is $139.95, mine has the 4 panel pull option ($20) woodland camo fabric ($45), and a JRB "speed sack" for quick setup ($15). I was thinking $120.
This tarp has been used on just a couple of trips to the Q; it's seam sealed, no defects or issues. It's in like new condition.

Hi,
I received your email - sorry for the delay in response, I've been out of town. I believe both the hammock and tarp are spoken for - will know for sure tomorrow night. Thanks for your interest!
