Sorry in advance, this post is honestly just to brag.

Got my personal best Walleye over the weekend with my best buddies on our annual trip to my favorite place on earth. Not the biggest Walleye, but the circumstances could not have been any better. 27 inches caught on a 1/4oz black jig and leech at 6:15pm in about 17 feet just below some rapids.

What a beauty! And catching that fish below rapids makes it twice as sweet. I love fishing in beautiful, energy-charged places.

I will paddle eternal, Kevlar and carbon.

27" is NO JOKE!! And those black jigs are under fished IMO. Caught many 24"+ on black jigs in my day. Obviously - leech looking and it does the job.

The two loudest sounds known to man: a gun that goes bang when it is supposed to go click and a gun that goes click when it is supposed to go bang.
