Hello, I purchased a Warbonnet Super Fly and was looking for your advise on setting this tarp up using a continuous ridgeline. Watching Dutch's videos Looks to be an easy set up with Tato tarp connectors, Dutch hook How long would you reconmmend ridge line to be? Thanks Troy

The Dutchware CRL with hook and wasp on the ends is 35 feet long. That should be plenty long. If the trees are much farther apart it can be very hard to get a good hang angle. I started with the Tato connectors but eventually switched to simpler and lighter prusik/soft shackle connectors and they work well.

I dont use a CRL for my hammock tarp, but i do for my CCS lean shelter. I use derek hansen method with 2 carbineers, this allows the tarp to be slid along the ridgeline if needed.

I don't use a CRL with my super fly either.

This is my setup as well. I didn't like the Tato connectors.

I use Dutch Stingerz w/o a continuous ridgeline on all my tarps (UGQ Winter Dream (similar to a Superfly) and a Warbonnet Thunderfly.

Thanks for the replies, bought the Tato and wasp connections from Dutch, tried it works good. Will bring 2 12’ strings of zing it with a couple of tarp ticks from Warbonnet also. Planning on a 9-23/ 9-28 EP 1 trip, plan to fish a lot.
