First off lemme just thank everyone for reading and submitting their info. So a couple nights on this last trip using my whisperlite universal, with the isopro fuel rather than pourable liquid fuel my whisperlite went into what can be described as "overdrive". The propane can felt super cold, frost was on it, frost was on the connection where the can joins into the whisperlite tubing and originally I had it on near the lowest setting and then all of a sudden it goes into a noticable audible roar, seemed like the fuel was on max, despite my turning the fuel knob off it still kept going for about 15-30 seconds. The delay in turning the stove off is normal and happens even when it doesn't this overdrive, I think most users will report the delay. But this overdrive was crazy, the final time it happened it wasn't a source of panic anymore, we just turned the knob off, removed food and let it do its thing for 30 seconds. stil kinda nerve racking, sounds like it's going to explode. Anyone experience this? Thanks,
