Looking to possibly sell my Bell Northwind Canoe for the right price. Purchased used 2 years ago and has been on two BWCA trips since. Nice canoe, but takes up quite a bit of space in my single car garage. Suspense deluxe wall mount would also be included (see link) which actually works pretty slick.

I may need a history lesson - do you (or does anyone else) know the waterline width on this boat?

Or how it compares to boats like the NS NW 17 (same length), Polaris (shorter, I know) in terms of speed, stability, rocker, etc?

Edit: Removed superstupid question. Left only mostlystupid ones.

Below the tumble home the Bell NW and NS NW 17 are supposed to be the same. So speed, stability, rocker, etc. should be similar or the same. I recall seeing an article that NS elected to make the mold for the NS NW 17 the same as the Bell NW except for the tumble home to make the mold easier to use.

Nice boat...was looking for another Northwind Royalex and could not find one....so bought a newer Northstar B16. I loved my Bell Northwind....great boat. My neighbor is looking for a boat so will let him know though not sure he will want to drive from SC to Minnesota to pick it up....but who knows.
