Will do. Taking her to the Kishwaukee Paddlefest shindig on the 27th. Might get her wet this Sunday with the gf. Gonna look so cool cutting through some rollers. It is pretty badass. Makes me smile. The guy who painted it is mostly a sign guy, but he is an artist too. Was cool seeing the smile on his face as he kinda looked away, I could tell he was thinking, this is gonna be fun. I’m sure he enjoyed the project. It is hand painted. I did the camo. She was all beat up from 20 something BW trips and looked like heck. Def got some looks as I took her home. I’m tempted to put her back on the truck and just drive around town to show it off.
Can’t help but chuckle. Cheers, scat

Kewl! Right up my alley!! You beat me to it!
Joy is a great teacher, but so is dispair. Wonder is a great teacher, but so is confusion. Hope is a great teacher, but so is disillusionment. And life is a great teacher, but so is death. To deny yourself any of those in any aspect is not experiencing life totally.

That is great, I was actually at an airshow this weekend, and saw a plane painted like that and thought of your canoe, now if I can only convince my wife that this is needed on my canoe!
One thorn of experience is worth a whole wilderness of warning

Cheers, scat"
Good on ya! My childhood was spent in a wood and canvas Old Town canoe that my father rehabbed and festooned with a phoenix skeleton on the bow. Good thing I was too young to notice or care about the stares ...

Kool Scat,
I built a P-40 Warhawk model airplane as a kid.
We also had a P-40 gas engine plane that flew around in a circle with a couple strings attached to the elevator. We actually flew that plane for a few years. It was tough and survived many crashes due to our lack of abilities.
Now the Flying Tigers in China.
They were a different kind of breed and airplane.

May the rivers be crooked and winding, and your portages lonesome, leading to the most amazing view.

In the 70tys I commanded a Mech Infantry Co and the M113's all had a similar design on the front.

Spartan1, do you know about the Banido Charlies?"
No, in Vietnam I was a MACV advisor in the Delta to a Regional Vietnamese Company, 5 K from the closest road. When wounded I was Medevaced to the 9th Div HQ, about 1 year after "Charlie Co" moved to another DIV.

Bruce isn't a girl's name, but it was the name of the shark in Jaws."
I believe it the shark in Finding Nemo not Jaws"
I believe the "Finding Nemo" folks had some fun in naming their shark in 2003. ;-)

Sorry, not naming my boat Bruce. That would just be plain weird. Now Felix.... Nah, it’s gotta be an evil woman. Sticking with Annie. On to the next of life’s grand decisions.
