Anyone here do Cold Soak Meals instead of using a stove?

If so, what are your favorite meals, or best meals you've had success with in cold soaking?

Have tried the Turkey Cranberry Dressing and Turkey Cranberry with Rice cold and would use again.

Cache Lake has a couple of wild rice salads that hydrate cold. Very good.

Food for the Sole has a couple that I have sampled at home and plan to take. I got the sampler pack and all meals were pretty good. The Coconut Rice and Cuban Black Beans was really good.

Who’d have thought? The salads and cereals could work for me, but I don’t think I could eat any casserole type dish with meat in it cold.

I don't think any of those food for the soul meals had meat.

Took a look at all three companies, and while the Wild Rice salad does look like a good lunch option its lower in calories.

The Camp Chow options are plentiful, and look legit amazing. Thanks for the heads up. I'm going to try the Turkey Cranberry one. And, at 660 calories, thats one of the highest caloric "ready to eat meals" i've ever seen in this category! That's awesome.

Since my entire trip is dependent on my physical exertion, skimping on calories is not a goal.

Thanks.

BTW, PackitGourmet used to have some, I remember a bean one that was pretty high in calories.

Outdoor Herbivore has some that may be of interest to you.

After getting my Pocket Rocket 2 stove, I ate all my meals hot. Got this one [Turkey Cranberry with Rice] on your recommendation, and I thought it was SO delicious! I would absolutely have this again!
