Hey all, I’ll be at Gunflint Lake next week with some family . Any recommendations for Gunflint in particular as well as other lakes along the trail this time a year? Walleye, Pike, Lakers, Smallies, whatever, we’ll take em!

General tips for August.. if its late August bring warm clothes. I have been there in late August with snow. It also gets fairly warm so prepare for that and maybe some swimming. I usually struggle with hot weather fishing so not many tips from me other than probably deeper than normal.
