Anyone have any experience with the Clipper Tripper? Found a kevlar ultralight version.

I've never paddled one, but am familiar with them. It is a pretty sleek tripper, 17'6" I believe. It is similar to the Wenonah 18' Sundowner--pretty deep, but straight tracking. It'll be a notch below the Wenonah Minnesota II in speed. It would be a great boat for BW/Quetico, especially in Kevlar. In my experience, Clippers are a bit heavier than Wenonahs generally. I have a Clipper WWIII, which is a bigger boat, but fast.

Thanks for the info. The canoe is 25 years old but hardly used and may have the original full spray cover similar to the ones Dan Cook makes, I'm going to check it out tomorrow.

Strongly recommend a test paddle.
