I know if these were made of plastic, Woodsman Pantry. They would be fine, . However going by the letter of the law I'm assuming they would be a no go in the BWCA?

I like them for my dry goods..

Since I can't get the hot link to work...

What does everyone else think?

I would say no you can use them in the BWCA because they are reusable. I don't believe the containers would hold up well to rough use.

The regulations say "no cans" but I assumed that meant like a can of beans where the can could potentially be discarded.

They have held up fine so far...

I Just found this on the Rec Gov sight on their "How well do you know the BWCA rules".

"Carry your food and drinks in reusable plastic containers. Cans and glass bottles not designed or intended for repeat use are illegal, except for fuel, insect repellent, medicines and toilet articles."

I guess I will be legal. :-)

How to insert a link.
Neither difficult or time consuming and a benefit to members.

Long as they are re-usable no trouble.

They look a lot like the Tiifin pots used to carry food in India.

You can bring those. It's popcans and bean cans and stuff like that that are banned.
