Just back last week from a great trip to Wabakimi. The weather was fantastic, the bugs very minimal and the walleye fishing was great!
We had very weak outfitter information... he was out of town and assistant was on vacation and wife was not knowledgeable. Maps were vague guestimates of campsite locations.
I'll put together more pictures when I get copies from the other guys.
We had a great trip!
The two rocky islands provided great walleye fishing after dinner.

Sounds like a great trip, Phil. I would like to get up there sometime, but I still have places to see in Q. Maybe one of these years.

Wabakimi has been on the list several years. Our group always wanted to canoe "The Big Three" Ontario canoe parks... Quetico, Woodland Caribou, and Wabakimi. Done.
Now looking to expand. Maybe Algonquin and Opasquia?
We are still committed to an annual early June Quetico trip every year!
