Bulging bellies on those last two!

Those are some good looking bass. I thought of you yesterday while trying to order some Z-Man baits from Academy Sports online. They were out of the 5” Jerk Shadz in Redbone and out of the Razor Shadz in the Bad Shad color. I blame you for creating the demand. I had to order those baits from Cabela’s where under the new Bass Pro Shops pricing model, they were charging more than MSRP. Thanks again for all of your input on this board.

I always get my ZMAN lures from Tackle Warehouse. Is this place cheaper?

i just ordered for 3.99 package. new 2/0 hooks and swivels on the way. heading to bw sept 15th. saved a buck a package.

I first started using the RaZor on the Zulu rig, but I noticed a good amount of fish would hit this lure as soon as it hit the water so I started to experiment with the lure on topwater without the swivel and found it to be deadly when the surface is glass.

I was trying to order from Academy because I can get free shipping with a $25 order whereas Tackle Warehouse and most of the others require a $50 order for free shipping. I was already ordering some Z-Man EZ Shrimpz for fishing in The Gulf of Mexico and wanted to order some Shadz and Razors to top off the order but they didn't have my/your colors in stock. I looked at Academy, Tackle Warehouse, Cabelas and Bass Pro Shops and none of them had everything I wanted in stock. I ended up splitting the order between Academy (free shipping) and Cabelas (free ship to store).

Cheaper and easier trip. I might have to start considering doing solo trips again in Quetico, the fishing is always better there.

Why solo trips..........And yea, the fishin in Q is always better. Even on border lakes, the Q side seems better...Cooked comes to mind, and Basswood, and Sag.......

Why does anyone do a solo trip? I guess to get away by yourself and your thoughts. It's not that I don't like people, sometimes it is just better when they aren't around. You go where you want, when you want to. You move at your own pace. You eat when you want. You eat what you want. You go to sleep when you want. You wake up when you want. You fish where you want. You fish when you want. You don't have anyone casting into that spot you wanted to cast into. Stuff like that......
