Anyone been into mudro from ep 23 recently, wondering if the creek is high enough to paddle.

I came out of it a couple of weeks ago. Just enough to paddle most of the way to the landing (waded the last 100 yards or so). Significant rain since.

Was up last week water levels were a little up with all the rain they’ve had.

just got back from a mudro trip on 9/24.

I've never seen picket flow so high or so fast in the 6 times I've been on it. We actually had a heck of a time paddling upstream to get back to the EP. By the time we got to the portage (2 very fit paddlers, mid 40's) I was wupped. We were fighting a pretty brisk west wind at the time, but the long and short of it is that the creek is probably TOO fast to not portage the few rods down to the 'official' put in.
