+1 on the above idea! I bought the inflation bag for my one of mats. Works ok, but way over priced.

Consider the Therm-a-Rest NeoAir Mini Pump. Runs on two AAAs that you can borrow from a headlamp. Very small and light. Fills your pad 90% of the way, but doesn't have the strength for the last 10%. That's fine, because it will only take you one or two breaths.
