Not sure about the Angle but the areas around Pine Island over to Zipple Bay area have extremely poor night fishing. I wouldn't reccm a sleeper if you want to catch fish at night. The dusk/dawn bite is typical but really no nightbite ( for eyes) on the S side.
The two loudest sounds known to man: a gun that goes bang when it is supposed to go click and a gun that goes click when it is supposed to go bang.

I don't recall any names but a buddy I went to high school with went to the angle every year with his family and it seems they always did well and had quite the variety of fish.
WhiteWolf, I agree there isn't much of a night bite for walleyes and saugers on the south end and a hot meal, even your fish from the day if you desire is tough to beat, don't the burbot bite quite well at night? I recall catching a bunch of them the few times we spent the night on the south end but that was 10+ years ago. I remember seeing burbot all over the ice when I was a kid but since we had some cleaned and fried at Borderview Lodge a few years ago I'll never look at them the same way, they were excellent.

It's not the #'s of the main lake- but try fishing the main Rainy River- Find the rocks ( or current) and you find this-- pigs chasing emerald shiners. 11lb 3oz
