Watched a DIY video on sleeping pad inflation system using a disposable water bottle cap. I tweaked the construction and am pleased with the results.

I installed a water bottle cap in the dry bag for my sleeping bag. It works well as an inflation bag and by installing the original cap can still be used as a waterproof dry bag for my sleeping bag.

Yes, before I put a hole in my dry bag I made one with a trash bag to see if it was practical. The trash bag inflator I made is next to the sleeping pad valve in one of the photos.

I also used a vacuum seal bag to make one. It holds a large volume of air and inflates quickly but Is too bulky.
