Be careful. A bunch of people had to be rescued off of Red lake yesterday when the wind blew them away. I know Pike bay on Vermilion had 4 inches of good ice last weekend. Things are warming up and that will change.

People are nuts to be out there with those windy conditions. Same reason I have never ice fished superior. Still need to get a deer and then I will be out checking smaller lakes in the area.

Even smaller lakes, inquire about possible springs if you don’t know the lakes. There are a few lakes like that up here that fool people every year. But yeah, be careful!
