Nice country. Main problem with this loop is that it consists of the all heaviest trafficked water in the Quetico in one loop. Great route if you like to meet folks.

If that's the case it's a great route. All the water in motion is beautiful and varied and exciting. Some great camps and stunning lakes as well. Long stretches that allow you to just churn in the Advantage.

I did it solo a few years ago departing in mid June from PP. Some of the areas were rather busy, some not so much. I did it in 11 days and wish I had taken more time. Then again, it rained every single day, and on day 1 I broke my fishing rod so no fishing. I love to read but wanted to watch my pack weight a bit so I brought a Kindle that died on day 2. I journaled more than I ever have after that!
I enjoyed the trip, and it gave me ideas on where else I want to go as I pondered maps at each site.
Go for it!!

Yeah, I remember reading that report- it’s still here if you search for it. The route has been in the back of my mind ever since, too.

Here is the link to the thread about Kanoes' Hunter Island solo. Not a true trip report - not sure if he did one - but it shares some information about the trip.
