Has anyone taken the creek/river between these two or you have to go around through Gull, Mudhole, Thunder?

i've spent many hours hanging out at the creek that flows out of home to the north, usually as i backpack the angleworm trail. we've also bushwacked a fair amount along the creek. the creek drops about 58' in a bit over a mile, if it were whitewater that would be class 6, as a canoe route i'd say it would be a class 6 portage, maybe a beaver pond or two for several yards of paddling. i'm not sure what your goals are, if you are looking to see seldom explored country this may be an excellent route, if you are looking for a time saving option this would not be that.

I was looking to not go over the portage to Gull and then up to Thunder/Beartrap. I was hoping it would save some time and portaging. Sounds like its faster to go out of Mudro and up. Thanks for the info.
