I like to explore the small lakes that are nearby, but are not connected by portages or have listed campsites. As an example, look at the EP maps section - EP4 and nearby Coo Lake. Can I camp on Coo Lake as if it were in a PMA? I am aware of the regs on camping at established areas of the BWCA, about marked campsites and fire rings, etc., but what about the hundreds of small isolated lakes with no established sites?
So far, a hike in, fishing from shore and lunch has been all I want, but just curious about other options.

You can't do that! You've been told."
+1 rules are rules - follow them! I agree with Bobber - You have been told! Or did you just say that to get a rise out of us?
